Alfonso

Alfonso is a friendly, loving dog of nearly six years old and approximately 30kg. He is a placid boy who loves the company of both people and other familiar dogs. He has spells of playfulness but most of the time is content to relax.

Alfonso has slotted into his foster home very easily and is a low maintenance dog to have around. He is well and truly out of the puppy and adolescent period and is a lovely settled dog. He loves to go for walks and walks well on the lead. He is always well behaved on the leash, and will quietly pass other dogs in the street with no more than a wag of his tail. However, he is NOT a dog who is comfortable with unfamiliar dogs running around him, so like most dogs Bull Breeds, he is NOT a dog park dog. He travels extremely well in the car and loves any outing. If he can go for a walk every day plus have a run or play a game of chasey or tug in the backyard, he’ll be a happy boy! His play can be quite bouncy and boisterous but he gets the message when his foster brothers have had enough.

Alfonso knows how to sit, and has good recall. He is very trainable, and is always keen to please. Alfonso has been very content spending his days in the backyard with his foster brothers while his people are at work and he sleeps soundly in his crate all night. He is not suitable to live with cats, chooks or other small animals. He is fine with children.

Alfonso is ready to find his forever home now, and is looking for a family where he will have lots of human company and activity. Alfonso would also be happy to have a medium-sized and well mannered doggy friend in his forever home. If you are looking for a loyal, loving best friend, Alfonso could be the dog you are looking for!
