Summertime Pups

Summer, Surf and Shell are three beautiful tri colour Koolie X Kelpie pups, who are now almost 16 weeks old and looking for their forever homes.

These pups had not had much handling when they came into care and were very timid, but they have improved in leaps and bounds with the good care they have received! As with all Koolies, consistent ongoing training and relationship building will be key to ensuring that these clever pups grow up to be confident companion dogs. Previous experience with Koolies or working breeds is preferred. Applicants need to be prepared to put in the hard yards for the next couple of YEARS.

Summer
Summer is busy, happy and confident, and can be choosy about coming when she’s called! She will bark when bored or if strangers are approaching. She has a lovely nature and loves a cuddle too!

Surf
Surf can be timid and unsure at first, but when given clear direction and praise, she blossoms. She loves to cuddle and to follow humans around the garden, ‘helping’. She will need ongoing training to build her confidence and help her to become the best dog she can possibly be!

Shell
Shell is a busy, outgoing pup. She sometimes forgets to come when called, especially when there is something very exciting like another dog or a chicken behind a fence! She is incredibly sweet and loves to cuddle and to be kept busy doing whatever her humans are doing. Practice on recall and no pocket pets will be the rules for Shell!
