About John
Long John divides his time between swashbuckling adventures and naps with pals. He has striking eye markings and spots on his belly. He loves hanging out with other cats and people and would love to live with other cats, but only if they are playful or tolerant of tail pounces and occasional neck and feet bites.
He's untested with dogs or kids but would probably be okay with them as long as they didn't mind being pounced on a bit too. He has a belting purr and when he's completely relaxed he'll roll over and sleep with his spotty belly in the hair. He'll definitely let you know when he's getting hungry by letting out a little cranky meow, he loves his food and will pretty much eat anything. He likes to curl up next to you on the couch and will follow you around the house to see what's going on.
Long John has a minor heart murmur. It doesn't impact his energy levels and it might be something that he grows out of but it is recommended that he has a vet check every six months to keep an eye on it.
