Alma and Bertram; aka Joyful and Happy, Playful and Cheeky or Ying and Yang! This little pair of beauties are out of this world perfection. Alma and Bertram (Bertie) are so perfectly complementary of each other and so beautifully bonded – they would make the most glorious addition to someone’s family.

Alma (tortie girl) is so sweet, super cuddly and affectionate, she purrs the second you touch her and she is clever with a very, VERY playful and rather cheeky side. When it comes to her humans, Alma is a snuggle bug, especially in bed at night. Be ready for some seriously big cuddles and for this little girl to curl up in your arms and purr herself to sleep.

Bertie is confident, will be your little shadow, chats and chirps non stop and has so much energy! Bertie is very protective of his sister and will often check on her to make sure she is ok, I promise you – your heart will melt! Both babies love their human time with Bertie never too far away, he will snuggle up to you and loves a scratch and pat but be warned, there isn’t a room in the house he won’t follow you to and make sure you know he loves you.

One of the most beautiful things about their bond is the way Bertie and Alma call out for one another when they are in different rooms. These beautiful babies will play together until they are exhausted and that is when they will either curl up with each other, or you, and have a big sleep til the next round of playing! They are an absolute joy to be around; funny, happy, energetic little companions who adore interacting with their humans, you will hear them chirping and chatting to each other as they play.

When Alma arrived her eyes were in a horrendous state but after working with an eye specialist she has made a full recovery and has no trouble with her eyesight. She does require drops available at the chemist until she is around 12 months old to ensure her eyes stay healthy. We will speak in detail with her new home about her previous eye trauma and provide information/advice from the eye specialist going forward.

These sweet kids will suit a multitude of homes but need to be kept inside or have access to a secure enclosure to keep them safe! Neither Alma or Bertie would mind if they had other friendly animals in their new home, they get along well with their feline foster siblings and are confident enough to live with a friendly dog. They have both met younger children and as long as they are respectful they would happily be forever friends with them. They are able to keep each other company so wouldn’t mind if their new parent/s had to work during the day either!
