Meet Blazer! A devilishly handsome 2-year-old kelpie with perhaps a little sprinkle of German Shepherd. Blazer is looking for a home with someone who is experienced with his breed - he is still learning about life and will need someone special to guide him on his journey 💙

Blazer has settled into care extremely well and is loving family life. He is fun and affectionate and gets on well with his dog foster siblings - big and small. More than anything, Blazer LOOOVES being around people. He is happiest just hanging out with his human and needs a home where he will be able to all day with his human. Blazer would be best suited to a calm environment with lots of space to run around with or without another dog – dog parks and busy suburbia will NOT suit this guy!

Aside from his humans, Blazer also LOOOVES his ball - any ball will do – he is not fussy! A ball been thrown will trump anything and anyone who will throw the ball is an instant friend. He is a ‘typical teenage boy’ who will make you laugh with his funny antics like giving you a big random hug or climbing on your lap! Blazer has learnt that life does not have to be 100 miles an hour 24/7 and he he will happily relax while you work. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night.

Blazer is fine around livestock and typically ignores them. He knows how to sit and high five - he is very smart, a fast learner and loves training sessions. He has great recall and will come running from a distance when called. Blazer has come a long way in care and is well on his way to becoming the bestest boy a person could wish for! There are so many things to love about Blazer and he is sure to melt your heart 💙
