Nev

Nev is a striking young dog with lots of love and energy to share. He sometimes shares his love of cats a little too much ... but this is mainly activated by his working dog instinct to chase.

Nev is very smart and is learning sit and drop. His recall is still improving as he can get distracted when there is something exciting to watch or chase. He is very affectionate and loves to sleep at your feet if computer time is on your to do list. He has slept inside and outside and toilet training is progressing well. If left alone and bored, Nev will vocalise his displeasure but is fine if with people or when he's occupied.

Nev can be unsure at times and a little wary of men. He has been fine with children, however his working dog tendencies mean that he tries to keep them in line, so older children would suit him better.

Ideally a quiet household where his person works from home or is retired would suit him best. He really loves to be close to his human and needs someone with previous working breed experience who knows what is involved with a busy kelpie!
