About Pip
Hi there!
I'm Pip and aren't I just the cutest?!
I know I have a pretty irresistible little face but please be sure to read my profile in full below.
Pip is an affectionate, cuddly puppy who likes people and loves a belly rub (and who doesn't want to rub a soft sweet puppy belly all day??)
In his foster home he has been getting lots of love as well as starting to learn things like toilet training.
He's also living with cats and has shown himself to be respectful of their space.
Pip comes from strong working line kelpies. He is an intelligent little guy who will grow into a smart, high energy dog who requires ample physical and mental exercise every day.
Among his litter mates and with the adult dogs in his foster home, Pip has shown himself to sometimes be a bit pushy and disrespectful. He's not as receptive to the cues of others, as his siblings are. All puppies play fight, but this little guy is pretty rough and tumble.
We strongly encourage all adopters to take puppies to training classes - but with this guy, it's essential. Consistent, appropriate socialisation with other dogs is critically important for Pip starting now, to enable him to grow into a happy, friendly, sociable canine citizen.
A home with an existing friendly dog to mentor him would be great, though not essential.
We would love to see him in a home with a family who are interested in pursuing agility or other dog sports that will challenge his mind.
A family where someone is home more often than not, at least while he settles in, would also be great.
Pip is super cute and is going to be a wonderfully loyal, loving companion.
Only the best will do for this little guy so please tell us as much as you can about yourself in your application.
Pip is $550 to adopt. This includes his first vaccination and microchip as well as his desexing (to be done at 6 months of age).
