About Molly - Foster Carer Needed
Introducing the beautiful little Molly!
In classic Staffy fashion, Molly has a lot of love to give! She adores cuddles, is a sucker for belly rubs, and is at peak happiness just generally being in your company.
Molly can be shy of strangers at first, but after you build trust with her she is extremely affectionate.
Her favourite place at home is either by your side while you work or sunbaking in the backyard. You always know when Molly is truly happy as her tail doesn’t just wag... it spins around like a little helicopter propeller!
When Molly came into foster care she was pregnant with 10 pups, and it was clear that she had not been walked on a lead nor had she received substantial training. Now, Molly walks well on lead, is confident with “sit/stay/in your bed” and her foster parents have continued to work on other commands such as “drop/leave it”. All her puppies were adopted, but she is still looking for love :-(
Molly can be reactive to dogs on walks and shows signs of distress when they get too close to her. In order to continue seeing Molly’s improvements through behavioural training, Molly would be best suited to a house as the only dog, and one that is situated in an area that isn’t too dog congested (e.g., not in the inner-city suburbs). This will allow her to keep up her training in a more controlled environment. Molly will also need a cat-free home.
Molly has lived with children and loves them too. She would also be suited to a couple and would prefer a forever home where her people are home more often than not.
Once little Molly settles in and bonds with you, she’s a little character who will make you laugh out loud with her quirks whilst showering you with love and cuddles. Molly is an ideal life companion.
Is Molly your Forever Friend?
Medical notes
Molly takes Lovan, a medication for anxiety, which she has responded well to.
