Rue - Located in Reservoir

Rue is an absolutely adorable little lady. She has the cutest little grumpy face behind which is a soft and sweet loving young cat.

She is learning to trust people for the first time and is thriving in her new life. Rue loves pats, scratches, and attention. Every day her confidence builds and brings her new experiences that she loves. In the last few days she has discovered that if she flops down during pats she can stretch out AND have head scratches! She loves butting her head into your hand and rubbing your hand with her cheeks.

Rue is fully litter trained and has never had any accidents. She is picky with her wet food (dine soups), but enjoys most dry food, and grazes throughout the day. She enjoys catnip. Rue is learning how to play and we have not found a toy she will play with yet, but she loves chasing pine pellets around and will get the zoomies! She likes sunny spots where she can watch the outdoors, and has taken a liking to the couch! She also will happily loaf on any vacant chairs, blankets, and next to you on the floor.

Rue is good with other cats. She is looking for a quiet home without children, where the adopter/s are willing to give her some special attention to begin with so she gains her confidence and trust. Ideally an adopter will understand her shyness to begin with, and would be happy to have her in a pet play pen for the first week or so, and be confident with cat body language, and not afraid of non-claw bats. You do not need experience in crating, I can walk you through the simple process. Rue is such a sweetheart and is so affectionate. One of her favourite things when you wake up is greeting you with meows for scratches and loving!
