About Mary
Mary came to the AWL NSW Illawarra family as a pregnant young mum from a colony. She had a bit of tough transition to inside foster care living and sadly she lost her babies. Since then she has moved on well with single lady life and is settling really well in her foster home. She has adjusted to sharing the home with other cats but has no worries about putting them in their place when they need it!
Surprisingly Mary has become quite fond of the foster home dog and quite confidently trots around him, sometimes even cheekily trying to pinch his food.
Mary is a champion 'relaxer'. She is excellent at finding the best, most comfy spots to nap and loves watching the world go by out the windows. She loves her food and will absolutely let you know when she's hungry. Mary has quite the funny habit of looking you straight in the eye and meowing enthusiastically, however, completely silently, again, usually asking for snacks.
Mary enjoys human company and being nearby to her foster carers but has not yet worked out the delights of being a lap cat. She is still definitely learning the inside life but is doing excellently and most definitely deserves a beautiful human family/best friend to give her love, safety and her very favourite...face rubs.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
