About Marty
Assisted Rehome – Adoption is direct from his Owner not Through A Mini Rescue
Hello!
My name is Marty and I am a beautiful 6 month old Cattle dog cross Mastiff.
I am the best friend of a 16 year old girl, but due to housing circumstances, I am looking for a new home to be my forever.
Don’t let my looks fool you - I may look like a goofy mastiff, but I am a really a little cattle dog at heart!
I love to run and play, and am always full of energy.
I have itty bitty legs which makes me quite short in size, with the big mastiff chest and colourings.
You get the best of both worlds with me - I am very smart, full of energy and take very well to training. BUT I also am a big goof ball at times to always have you laughing and I love a good snuggle under my blanket with my monkey!
I am very well trained. I know how to sit, stay, shake and stay by your side on walks.
I never pull on the lead, I stop at all roads and crossings and will take a seat by your feet until I am told to cross (safety first!).
I do like to talk and need some training around knowing when to use my voice, and when we have quiet time. I am getting better at this each day with training, but I would love for my new parents to continue this training with me so I can learn my manners and be the best boy I can be!
I am looking for a new family that has a larger house, hopefully a farm or property where I can run to my hearts content.
I grew up on a farm from a young pup, so I would love space to run and chase the butterflies.
I have been around dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and other farm animals growing up and I love them all!
I would love to have some other doggy siblings to play with in the backyard, and even some human siblings too
I love all children, but sometimes I can get a bit too excited so I would love some kid friends that are 10 years+ to play fetch with.
I also love cats, however due to my cattle dog nature I do like to herd them and round them up to keep them safe.
I am very well loved, and have had lots of ongoing training to make sure I am the best boy I can be.
I am desexed, fully vaccinated and completely up to date on my flea and worm treatments.
If you could be my new forever family I would love to meet you!
