About Sparky DL2797 and Stumpy DL2798
Our sweet boys, Sparky and Stumpy, are looking for an extra special home to share.
These gorgeous dogs have missed out on the vital socialisation stages in life and are frightened and defensive around new people and dogs. You'll need the time, patience and commitment to teach them that they can trust humans.
Once you earn their trust, you'll find that Sparky and Stumpy both have the sweetest nature! They just want to spend their days curled up on the couch with you. They are happy to sleep in their crate, and they have started having morning walks which they seem to be enjoying.
Sparky and Stumpy are currently working hard to learn how to live indoors, so toilet training is a work in progress and you'll need to keep up the good work with them. They are learning sit, stay, and how to walk nicely on lead. And, they are learning that there is a whole, wide (albeit, slightly scary!) world out there.
They are fearful of other dogs, but they do have potential to become social. It will take time and slow introductions with calm friendly dogs to help them overcome this fear. They currently live with two other dogs, however these relationships did take some time.
Sparky and Stumpy are looking for a loving, quiet home with no children, while they are learning to trust. They could potentially go to a home with a cat with a nice slow introduction.
If you have the perfect home for Sparky and Stumpy to thrive in, email DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
