About Dusty DL2801
Dusty is a very affectionate boy, he always wants to be touching his people, and considers himself a lap dog. He's a friendly guy and welcomes guests with a big smile.
Dusty aims to please and is easily motivated by food. He picks up new cues fast if you have tasty treats handy, and he takes the treats very gently.
He loves to play tug o’ war and has a good go at fetch. He is a big fan of playing with the water from the hose, so it’ll be fun keeping cool with him this Summer!
Dusty is generally great to walk and just plods along beside you. He’s ok when he spots cars or people, but doesn’t love seeing other dogs on his walks, so just distract him and keep him moving.
Dusty is happy to spend time both in and outdoors. He's quite chill in the house and happy just to hang out with you. He’s a bit worried you’ll leave him behind, so will need tall and secure fences to keep him safe while you're out. He would do especially well with someone who works from home or can take him to work.
Dusty’s not so sure about other dogs, but with a slow introduction, he could potentially go with a female dog of similar size and energy. Although, he really doesn’t mind being the only dog and having all the attention to himself! He hasn’t yet met kids or cats.
If you'd love to meet the delightful Dusty, please contact DFL today to apply!
