About Jack
On Ted's wish-list are the following things:
1. His own football
2.His own paddling pool
3. His own people to love
It has taken us a little while to really get to know Ted, and he's thrown a few challenges at us, but we're happy to say that we finally think we've cracked it and know exactly what he needs to live a long and happy life.
Ted is looking for a forever home where he will be included in family activities. He wants to live indoors with you where he can keep you company as you snuggle up together on the couch.
Being a staffy, he likes to talk! He often wants to tell you how his day is going & he'll help you feel better about yours if it is not going so well. Ted walks beautifully on the lead. Despite looking like a little power house, his leash manners are lovely.
He thrives on routine, and is very specific about what is going to work for him vs. what isn't. Ted is NOT for the first time dog owner - and prior experience with Staffies will be considered favourably!
He is, at times, happy to entertain himself in the pool with his new ball that you've bought him but he'd rather hang out with you whether you're watching tv or going for a ride in the car.
Ted is not bothered by other dogs although we get the feeling that he'd rather be the only dog in your life. Dog-savvy older (12+) kids would be considered.
He requires secure fencing & a high-quality diet. Oh, & did we mention.... a new football?!
Ted's adoption price is $200 which includes his vaccinations, desexing, health check, microchip & up-to-date flea & worm treatments.
SPECIAL OFFER FOR ADOPTERS: you can add-in a private virtual dog training consultation with RSPCA School For Dogs to Ted's adoption, for an additional $150. Great value for expert support.
