About Chestnut
As his name would suggest, Chestnut is a bit of a tough nut to crack. He is still a little unsure when it comes to humans, so he needs a home that will give him some extra TLC initially to boost his confidence.
He loves his sister Demi, but his foster carers think he depends on her a little too much and that she is preventing him from fully coming out of his shell.
He loves to run and play and explore, and he will give some very sweet cuddles and purrs when picked up and held, but he is still not quite brave enough to actively seek attention from people.
He has come a long way since first coming into care--he started off as a terrified, hissy boy who refused to be touched--but still has yet to reach his full potential.
Chestnut would be best suited to a calm, quiet person/family who can spend a lot of time with him as he is settling in. He would do well with another kitty, but it might be best to get him to come out of his shell first before introducing them.
