Ryka ~ Boxer X Puppy(On Trial 14/3/22)

Meet Ryka, a brindle 11 week old Boxer X. Ryka is a loveable pup, very curious, playful and gentle and loves cuddles with his foster care family which includes adults and children.

Ryka enjoys time inside and outside his carers home including lazy naps on the grass and tug of war with toys. He enjoys sniffing around the yard and exploring, following his carers around and inside naps too.

Since coming into care Ryka has shown that he is a good listener and learner. He is learning to come, sit and stay and is responding well to being called. Having only just had his puppy injections he hasn’t had time walking out and about on the lead or met new dogs other than his brother. At night he curls up in the bathroom and sleep until morning.

Ryka’s forever family will need to be attentive and give Ryka the time and love a puppy needs. He loves human interaction with adults and kids and loves being a part of the action and then having space to rest. Ryka will need an appropriately fenced yard with no small gaps. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training to ensure proper boundaries and routines are established. This will ensure that you get the best family member/friend possible.

As Ryka is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications. Ryka's adoption fee is $700 and he is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
