About King Tutt SUA009044
King Tut came to us with many health concerns but also came with a beautiful and loving personality that we could not help falling in love with.
Just to list a few of his medical needs since arriving, major dental surgery, entropion repair, treatment for burst abscess and dermatitis, and he was anemic. Through all of this his temperament has been extraordinary, the only time he showed any displeasure was when we attempted to place a cone on him to stop him from scratching and licking at his injuries, the cone was removed and all was wonderful in his world again.
To add insult to injury he is FIV+ and in advanced renal failure. He has been through so much for a 6yo and he really does show his zest for life and no intentions of giving up just yet, and we will not give up on him.
Due to his medical conditions he is not suitable for adoption, so we are looking for a permanent foster home for him to relax safely and comfortably for the rest of his beautiful life. We don’t know how long that will be, it could be months or years. We will supply all of his needs, you will supply a safe indoor only home with plenty of love and security.
Our preference would be that he remains local as you will need to be available to bring him into our Veterinary Clinic as required.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
