About Buster
Hi I’m Buster, and I am a 4 year 10 month old Pugalier (Yep I’m a Pug x Cavalier King Charles)
My foster mum says that I have to advise you all my good and all my special needs, because I can’t say bad needs – how can a face like mine have any bad needs.
1. I am a Pugalier so of course all my needs are special – at least to me!
2. My foster mum says I do take a good few minutes to warm up to new people when they arrive – so people need to be mindful of that when they come meet me – they need to give me those few moments to feel secure and settled in order to be able to come up to you on my own terms and say hi. (Pssss once I know you we are friends for life)
3. Following on from point 2 – I can be protective of my property and will bark to alert you when someone comes to the house – but again once I know you’re okay I will happily hang and do a wag of my tail.
4. I am cat selective - i have been with one house where there was a couple of cats and no issues but at my foster home there is a cat and i do like to tease / annoy this one
5. I am great with kids - but when they first meet me they need to give me those few moments – my foster mum calls it my nervous period. I am happy to be in the room with them I’m a pretty good supervisor when they do their homework.
6. I am good with other dogs – I currently hang out with my foster sibling - i would love to have another dog to hang out with daily and snuggle with at night time.
7. My foster mum says I’m a happy boy and you will often see me wagging my tail – especially if you chat to me.
8. I love being an inside dog – and going outside when I want to - which is not really that often unless your outside and I'm jus going out there cause you are there :-)
9. If you ever need a partner when you’re doing your errands etc. I’m your guy – I love a car ride and my mum says I’m pretty good on the lead. I do know my basic commands which is helpful.
10. I am toilet trained.
11. I like to eat off a plate - not a bowl
12. I have been known to be the victim of exploding beds / pillows / soft toys so any new family will need to be mindful that this can happen
Well I think that’s it …. If you think you could make me part of your family & are interested in applying to adopt me, please send thru an adoption application
** Please note applications will close Sunday 27th February 2022 at 5.30pm

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
