About Lou Lou:
Lou Lou is a big bubbly girl full of personality. She is smart, happy, caring and playful.
She is looking for a family that will take her for walks or to the beach. Keeping up with her exercise will be essential for her to continue to work towards her fab-fit-bod.
If you can throw a ball, you have found a friend for life. The squeakier the better. She will play fetch all the time. She enjoys swims and playing with the water hose. Taking dips in her paddling pool or her water dish.
Lou Lou is happy to hang out and chill with you. Watching a movie or doing sweet nothing.
What Lou Lou needs:
Lou Lou needs to be a part of the family where she can access indoors and outdoors, and access her humans regularly throughout the day.
Lou Lou needs a big backyard that she can access for toileting, sun baking, sniffing around, doing the things dogs like to do. A doggy door would be amazing.
Lou Lou loves her food, but a minute on the lips = a lifetime on the hips! We have her on a meal plan to accommodate her nutritional needs and body weight. She loves fruit and veggies
Lou Lou needs a family that is willing to actively train her. She has some basic obedience but would blossom with more obedience training, consistency and regular exercise.
Lou Lou is a big, strong girl, and will need some training (followed by ongoing consistency) for safe loose lead walking so that she can go on daily family walks.
Why is Lou Lou so special?
Lou Lou is a young dog with an amazing temperament. She has the potential to work with an individual to train to be an emotional support dog, a facility or therapy dog. If someone is willing to put the work in, then Lou Lou has the potential to become an amazing working dog.
Riverina Therapy Dogs has sponsored Lou Lou by undertaking a temperament test, and are keen to help match Lou Lou with the right home.
Riverina Therapy Dogs is also willing to sponsor Lou Lou for individual coaching with her new humans for the first 6 months that she is in her new home. If the placement does not work out, then Riverina Therapy Dogs is willing to work with Bootifulpets Animal Rescue to continue to work to find the right home for Lou Lou.
Adoption fee:
Lou Lou’s adoption fee is payable to Bootifulpets Animal Rescue. Her adoption fee has been set to recover her veterinary costs which include desexing, commencement of a parasite control program, temperament testing, health check.

Adoption Process:
We allow 7 - 10 days from time of listing to receive enquiries.
Once we receive enquiries, we print these.
We contact potential adoptees via email with an attached application and also ask for pictures of property that the animal will be residing at,
We then proceed to determine what/ where and who is the best placement for our animals, based on the information given via the application form and supplied photos.
When we have processed all applicants and their applications, we then proceed to contact relevant parties via phone to organise a meet and greet to make sure that all parties are happy with placement prior to going to their new home.
Lastly, Thankyou for applying to give an animal a second chance at happiness...This is our main goal as a rescue :)
GOOD LUCK !!!
