Hi there, Nina the sweet here. I am an affectionate sweet-natured girl that would like to stop roaming and gadding about and settle down with my human. I am currently in foster care and I don’t roam at all. In fact I am very happy at home and my manners inside the house are impeccable. I like my food and as my pictures indicate, I am a bit of a sweetie. I am good with little kids and cats, which is a bonus I think. I like walking and do not pull on the lead and I am not a gardener so I don’t dig holes and nonsense like that. I also can’t see the point in barking about nothing. I do love a pat and a good word. I am not aggressive with other dogs, but I can be a bit overwhelmed with big dogs fussing too much. As I am just a pup, I would benefit from an owner who has the time to put into my training to make me a better companion. If you would like me to be your shadow, apply to adopt today!

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
