ABOUT SUNNY & LUNA:

Sunny (orange) & Roxy (grey) are the sweetest pair that would make any house feel like a home! Both cats are petite sized but have big hearts full of love!

They both have both unique, affectionate, playful, laid-back and loving personalities! They would make the purrrfect companions to a loving family!

ABOUT SUNNY:
Sunny will truly fill your life with sunshine. He has blessed our lives with so much love and happiness. He is a very affectionate boy and a purring machine! He will start purring even when you’re patting his sister and he’s across the room (LOL)!

He loves kisses, cuddles, pats and being picked up and held. He is a very confident and charismatic boy who wins over the hearts of everyone he meets.

He has a very unique personality (in true ginger cat style)! He is very chatty and vocal. He likes following his humans around everyone and inspecting what they’re doing. He also enjoys collecting items and showing them off while carrying them around in his mouth (e.g. felt balls, cat toys, blankets, key rings, hair ties, clothing, beanies, etc.) it’s very cute and funny to see!

ABOUT ROXY:
Roxy has a very loving but independent personality. She gains confident when her brother is around. She can be very affectionate (especially when there’s food or treats involved). As the only girl and the smallest in her litter, she has always been a little bit shyer and more cautious. She will need a patient family to give her time and space to adjust!

When comfortable she is a very sweet and affectionate girl! She often gets excited and will shake her tail when she sees her humans approaching her. She likes physical contact on her terms but she does love to talk with her humans and be around them always.

She loves to play and chase her brother around. She is also very vocal like her brother and has also had started copying him and carrying items around!

IDEAL HOME:
Roxy and Sunny are very special to us! We were hoping to keep them as a residents at the Rescue Cat Crew Home. However, we have noticed that as they got older they wanted more individual attention and don’t like sharing their home so many other pets. We have had to make the heartbreaking decision to find them a new home where they are spoilt!

Roxy and Sunny would love having access to an enclosed outdoor area (e.g. a large cat enclosure or netted area)!

SUITABILITY TO OTHER PETS:
Roxy and Sunny have always lived with other cats and kittens so they would be happy to live with another kitty!

They have also lived with a cat-friendly dog for a few months. They didn’t really appreciate the dog and mostly stayed away, but we’re happy to interact from a safe distance.

RESCUE STORY:
We originally trapped and rescued Missy (who had been abandoned) and her 4 kittens (Sunny, Roxy, Pepper and Prince). Missy was very social, but her kittens were scared of humans as they had lived hiding in bushes outside an apartment block. We socialised the mum and the kittens and gave them lots of TLC!

Slowly the rest of the family were adopted, except Roxy and Sunny. We ended up deciding to keep them as resident cats, however, as they got older they wanted their own space and a more consistent lifestyle (without constantly dealing with so many new pets). They have had a very spoilt and loved life here at the rescue cat crew home.
