About Adovo
The charming and handsome Adovo is ready for his furever home!
Whoever adopts Adovo is going to be one lucky person! He is super friendly and smoochy and just all around an affectionate cat.
What is Adovo looking for in his furever home? A best friend! He wants to be by your side getting all of the attention. And how could you not give in? Just look at him!
He is great with other cats and dogs! Since he likes being the center of attention, it might be best that he's the only cat or with older furry friends. He can get jealous if rambunctious kitties or puppies steal his spotlight! He much prefers to laze about vs be chased about. Older kids might be best as well, since Adovo likes to keep his lifestyle quiet and chill.
One of Adovo's cutest features is that he likes to think of you as another cat! So when he's snuggling up next to you he might start to groom you or mouth at you. He totally means this in the friendliest way possible. He's just saying: 'hey, you're pretty awesome and I think of you as my family.' If you've seen cats interact together, you'll know what an honour this is. 🙂
Adovo is FIV positive but he doesn’t let this slow him down or stop him from living his best life. FIV cats have a lowered immune system and need to be indoor only, as exposure to diseases outside is not in their best interest. Due to being FIV +, Adovo will need to be the only cat or with cats that are also FIV positive. If you have any questions regarding FIV, please reach out - we are happy to chat about this!
His ideal home will be one where someone is at home frequently. He can't get enough of people so he would love it if you work from home or if the roommates have different schedules so somebody happens to be around so he can trap them on the couch by laying on them begging for pats. He will happily listen to you and will also respond when you call him over. Who knows, you might be able to teach him a few cool tricks!
Adovo is 2 years and 7 months and he comes fully vet worked, desexed and microchipped.
