About Rosie 💗
Rosie is a sweet girl with a lovely nature. She's settled into her foster home well and when inside she is calm and quiet, she potters around the house, loves to be with her humans but is happy to be somewhere else in the home just sitting quietly or curled up asleep. Rosie is affectionate with her humans and loves a cuddle.
Rosie is toilet trained and uses the doggy door in her foster home, she knows some basic commands, travels very well in the car and is not a fussy eater.
This young dog doesn't have a bad bone in her body but that's not to say that her new family won't have some work to do settling her in. Rosie is learning to walk on leash but is very strong and still pulls. She is very excitable and barks when she meets new people, or is put into new situations, but soon settles and relaxes again. Rosie wants a family who are committed to her ongoing training and socialisation so she reaches her full potential as a wonderful family pet. She is treat motivated and smart; she listens to you and is quick to learn.
Rosie is sharing a foster home with other dogs and would be fine to be rehomed with another dog – a younger rather than older dog as Rosie does love to romp and bounce and race around the yard with the other dogs. She runs with the speed of a little greyhound!
Rosie would thrive in a calm home living as an inside/outside dog sleeping indoors at night. Rosie cannot go to a family who are out of the home at work full time. She cannot be rehomed with cats as we do not know her history around cats.
If you are interested in speaking to us about Rosie, we would love to hear from you. All our dogs have a two week trial in their new home. Thank you.
