About Lucifer
Hiii! Lucifer is waving at you and is ready to set your heart on fire! This boy has an outstanding balance of being cheeky and energetic but sweet and gentle at the same time. He enjoys having company and wants to be involved with your everyday routine - laying in the same room, laying on the floor while you do your chores, going for a walk or sleeping next to your bed.
Lucifer could be your next health guru. He loves snacking on fruits and vegetables (dog-safe options only, of course). Besides food, running is also part of his healthy lifestyle. He absolutely loves it, and to top up his day, he would love a car trip. Thank you!
Toys are a tricky subject, you may have to buy a new one every month. Lucifer aims to think a toy is for destroying. The stronger the toy, the better the challenge! He has such a playful nature, and he enjoys a game with is humans. He will try catching your hand, and he gets very excited and talkative. But then again, he is always gentle and never bites. If he gets ahold of your hand, he will give it lots of kisses. He knows when to stop on command. He also knows to sit, shake/paw, lie down and is pretty good at waiting (although he hasn’t perfected this one yet).
Lucifer has not lived with other dogs previously, but he had some furry friends coming over for sleepovers, which he seemed to enjoy, mainly because he is very playful. However, he can get annoyed with little pups after a while. He has not spent much time with smaller dogs and is prey driven with rodents in the yard. Lucifer is in the process of understanding not to chase everything that runs (dogs, people), especially when he is on the lead.
The poor thing looks braver than he actually is. At times, he gets scared when it storms. He is okay though when you are close by and inside. He is a great communicator and will let you know when he wants something, whether it be attention, a walk or going outside. He is pretty curious, so make sure to close your doors if you don’t want him to sniff around in the clean laundry!
Lucifer will go to an active single person, couple or family in an ideal world, allowing him to be part of the team and take him for daily walks. He is terrific with kids, but older kids are recommended because of his playfulness and excitement levels. He would be best in an only-pet household or with another big dog. Good fencing is a requirement, as he knows how to dig out and is a perfect jumper.
Medical notes
Lucifer is a gorgeous and healthy gentleman.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
