About 6524 - Mr Buggalugs
😽💙 MEET MR BUGGALUGS 💙😽
“Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr..”
Fun fact: That song was written about me. The writers from The Big Bang Theory walked past me one day and, well, the rest is history!
For those of you who don't know me yet, my name is Mr Buggalugs, but you can call me Buggs. I'm a former tough-nut street cat turned snuggle bunny, who is learning the ropes to the domesticated life. If you're looking to add the most special little fluff ball to your family then please read on...
Nature
Now I know a lot of profiles throw the words 'cute', 'friendly' and 'best cat ever' around like confetti but I really am cute and friendly AND my foster pawrents tell me every day that I'm the best cat ever! What can I say? I’m a catch!
Even though I'm a big, chonky ex-street kitty, my pawrents have never seen an ounce of aggression in me. Not a hiss, not a swipe, not a bite! Even when I was terrified, after being rescued from my former life, I never retaliated with any hostile behaviour. I don't know about you, but I personally believe that life is short. Why spend your life angry and mean when you can spend it sleeping?
Sadly, due to nobodies fault, I have jumped from carer to carer since I came into foster back in November. I have been with my latest pawrents for a few months now and they are already so smitten with me. They can’t understand why I haven’t been adopted already! I settled into my new digs quickly, with no issues whatsoever, and have even become best friends with the resident kitten! I am the most gentle big brother and treat her carefully and with so much love and that's how I treat everybody. I have an endless supply of love that I give to anyone and everyone. My foster pawrents say they have never met a kitty quite as wonderful as me.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Whilst I absolutely adore my two-legged friends, I can be a little wary of some of the four-legged kind. Before I moved in with my new pawrents I lived with a dog and, let me tell you something, I did not like him at all. My Foster Mama said I would be much better off with a family without a pooch! I also lived with a toddler and, I gotta tell ya, the young hoomans are just not for me. They're loud, they cry, and they stress me out when they're around.
Now, when it comes to kitties, I’m a bit of a question mark. I am an absolutely wonderful big brother to the teeny babies. I play with them ever so gently and I’m on my best behaviour whenever they are around. I can be a bit hit and miss with the older, less confident, kitties and have been known to chase and start fights with a few. My foster parents think I might be trying to assert my dominance, or it could just be that when someone runs, I follow! But my Foster Mama says I should do fine with a confident, cat-friendly feline who won’t be scared of my presence.
Likes / Dislikes
When it comes to life, there really isn't much I don't like! If you asked me what my favourite thing was I would have to say playing! I would play all day, every day, if eating, sleeping and pooping didn't get in the way! My absolute favourite toys are wand and feather toys but I'm not picky, if there is something to be played with you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be playing with it! Other things I love include company, love, affection, food (did I mention I was 7kg? You don't get this bod without a little help from carbs), regular brushes, being the little spoon, and naps. Naps are also my favourite.
The only things I am not a fan of are young kids, doggies, and mean kitties. Ain't nobody got time for a sassy pants!
My PURR-fect home would be one that is filled with love, fun and cuddles, where I can spend my life playing the days away, and snoozing away the rest with my new best friend; my big spoon. My foster pawrents are absolutely besotted with me and think I am the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas (ha!) and would have adopted me already if they weren't already run ragged with felines!

FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
