NOTE: You are unable to meet Aria until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Aria in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A do have a fear of thunderstorms & fireworks, which I am medicated for when they occur. However, this only started when my doggie friend died, so I may be ok if I have another dog at home to keep me calm.
• Although I have lived with a dog before and hang out all day with dogs at the shelter, I'm not very interactive with them, so I'd rather be the only dog at home.
• I don't like dogs smaller than me and will show aggression towards them
• I have previously lived with a cat with no issues
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• A family who promise to keep me well groomed and brush me regularly so
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with young children, however I do get a bit bouncy when excited so any children need to be ok with this.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Small dogs - I find them to annoying and will be aggressive with them.

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other dogs
• Social butterfly
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Exuberant & full of beans
• Housetrained and used to being allowed inside
• I'm crate trained and have previously slept in a crate inside at night.

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET ARIA BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
