About Teddy
MEET TEDDY!
Teddy is approximately 7 months old and the brother to Harriet (also on P.R) He is a short haired tabby and white baby, fully vet worked and ready for his forever home!
Teddy is a super affectionate little guy, he loves to be picked up and cuddled. He is friendly and happy, he loves to play with his siblings and he'd be happy to go to a home with another friendly cat, or be an only cat as long as his humans were home enough to keep him entertained.
Teddy would LOVE lots of toys and a cat tower to climb up and lounge on as you can see in some pics! He'd especially love to share it with his kitty friends. He would love to be able to sleep in bed with his humans. Teddy has no experience around dogs or little kids so a slow, careful introduction is a must, he may be quiet scared when he first comes to his new home (which is normal for most cats & kittens being rehomed) so we are looking for a home that is understanding and won't expect too much too soon of him and will give him the time he needs to blossom into the gorgeous, playful young kitty that he is!
Teddy has been waiting a long time to find his forever home and we just can't work out why!
- Teddy is INDOOR ONLY please only apply for him if this is suitable for your home.
- Teddy gets along well with other friendly cats, he can be adopted with his sister if you have room for 2!
- Teddy has no experience with dogs or little kids but we believe he would be okay with older/quieter children.
- When applying for Teddy please tell us about your home/yourself and why you think he would be the purrfect fit, we pride ourselves on making the right match each time.
Medical notes
Teddy is a growing young kitten and as such he requires a premium quality dry kitten food.
He is a healthy young cat, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated x2 and up to date with his parasite prevention. You dont need to do anything other than his annual vaccinations (and anything that may pop up on the way) !
Adoption details
Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
Thank you again for your interest in one of our rescue cats!
