Splendid Spud is a delightful young lad. Full of playful inquisitiveness and cuddly affection he will steal your heart.... and your bed if he deems it the softest most snooze worthy spot in the house.
Young Spud has been lucky enough to have spent a little time in foster care while growing up where he has shown he is quite adaptable, making friends with the resident cats and also the dog.
Young spud will accompany you to another room just so your not alone and maybe so he can see what your up too- it may involve food... he wouldn't want to miss out on that!
Spud will fit easily into any sized household and will be stealing someone's bed in no time, its hard to say no to a face that cute!
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
