About Meatloaf
*In foster care in Kingsgrove, Sydney*
Say hello to Meatloaf! This hugely affectionate and playful little boy adores a good scratch behind the ears, and is always down for a friendly chat with anyone who crosses his path :)
Curiosity is Meatloaf's specialty - he LOVES to explore and investigate! - followed closely by cuddling, and working on his big-boy purr.
Playing hard, either by himself or with any willing human, is right up there with Meatloaf's favourite things too... but food is definitely at the very top! He's a well-fed lad who never misses a meal, so don't be fooled for an instant by his pleading eyes and keen interest in everything on your plate!
Like all Maggie's pets, Meatloaf is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Due to my high energy, I'd love a home where my humans are never too far away. You'll need to enjoy playing with me, and also provide me with plenty of toys so I can entertain myself in a pinch! I might even enjoy a furry friend to keep me company while you're out :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Off the charts!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't had the chance to meet any kids yet, but I think I'd be a great match for cat-loving children of school age (5+). Be aware - my playing style can be intense, and might take a little getting used to!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've really enjoyed the short amounts of time spent with my foster dog friends! I haven't met any cats, but that's not to say I wouldn't like to :) I think another pet's ability to put up with my antics - or join in the fun - is going to be the most important thing!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
