About Tyrion
Hi everyone! I am Tyrion, a big, loveable, friendly Dane. I am 3 years old and I am looking for my furever home.
I am a shy fellow with people and children until I get to know them. Once I feel comfortable, I love cuddles and scratches and watching tv.
I play very well with my Dane foster sister, who is very energetic however I am a patient, tolerant chap and we have become good friends. I like going for walks, I pull a bit on the lead but wearing a halti is not too bad. I must say I do keep my nose to the ground, so many delicious smells everywhere.
I am not a destructive dog, although I do recall chewing a hose once. I have no idea why I did that I must have been having a difficult day. When my foster carer is not home, I usually chill out in the lounge room and sleep the time away. It’s not a big deal for me. I am not a food orientated dog and I haven’t yet found a treat that makes me pant with excitement or run around in circles.
I sure am clever I have just learned how to sit. I know some commands like outside and bed and now I understand sit. I would love to learn more and hope my new family will have fun teaching me new things.
Have I been around cats? Well, there is a cat in my foster home, the cat ignores me, and I ignore the cat. I don’t know if this would work with every cat. I haven’t met any livestock so I am not sure how that would go.
I do love kids and a home with bigger kids over 12 years would be best for me. I am a big Dane and sometimes forget my size when I am playing. I am not a jumper and while that is a good thing it also means that I need a bit of help getting into a car.
I am a big, daney softie, I haven’t shown any aggression to people or other dogs while I have been in foster care. My foster family love me and they will miss me. I have had the best time since I went to their home, but I now need a home and family of my own.
If you think I could be a member of your family, please complete the adoption application.
