Coco -Desexed and Vaccinated

Coco is a very little bunny, and will grow no bigger. She was surrendered to the pound, the reason left was: "son is neglecting it". This is all too often the case. Little coco is desperate for some attention and love in her life. She really wants to be friends and will tentatively approach for a pat, but seems unsure whether or not you'll like her. If you move your hand over her face she hunches down and whimpers in a very noisy, un-rabbit-like way. Once you are patting and reassuring her she stops the whimpering and oozes with joy. Goodness knows what has happened to coco in the past, but before long we're sure she'll be a happy girl bounding over for attention like the other bunnies at the shelter. To give you an idea of how small coco is, she only weighs 993g. That's less than any of the guinea pigs here! coco needs a home without young children, as she is very fragile and delicate. Update 20. 11. 10: well, well. . . What a difference a few weeks at the shelter makes! look who's miss confident now! coco happily bounds over for little pats and has forgotten all about whimpering and cowering. She's one well adjusted bunny :) we've also found her bunny social, although she is initially intimidated by all the bigger buns. This girl has grown twice the confidence, we're so proud of her.
