About Bentley
My name is Bentley and I am a toy ballaholic – it has been 7 minutes since I played with a toy!
I have been told I am 8 years and 10 months old but I don’t think so I think I’m more like 4 or 5 – I love to play, and run and have fun.
My foster mum says I’m the most gorgeous boy but I do have an addiction – to toys – I love love love them. I especially love balls – I have a collection of them. My foster mum says I’m one of the happiest boys to be around – until my toy goes under the couch / cupboard and then I will stare it mopey like until someone gets it for me…… don’t mind the fact that I have another 20+ toys 5 cms away. My foster mum has to be very strict with me each day so I don’t spend 24/7 with my toys.
So I’m supposed to tell you all about me and dazzle you with my good manners and cheeky smile – I think I can do that. Let’s see………..
I am a bulldog so yep you betcha I love my humans! I love chillaxing with, doing back yard things with them, watching a movie with them – you name it – I’m in – how fun is it to hang out with your bffs!
I am a bulldog so of course I love having access to inside and outside of the house – I would need a doggy door that I can get thru – I’m 46cm tall and 23kgs – some people say that’s big but my foster mum said that’s just more to cuddle!
I am in care with two other bulldogs (one is younger then me one is older) I’m good with both of them and do love to have a good old play but also happy to be an only dog and enjoy all the cuddles and laps!
My foster mum says while I am a good walking buddy I am strong so need to be mindful of that.
I am thinking I will probably need to go with kids over 12 years old – simply cause I don’t remember that I can’t go thru kids when I am running and that sometimes I forget my manners when a toy is on the ground and I will snatch it up regardless of fingers being in the way.
I also have another quirk – what you say? A bulldog having a quirk – who ever heard of such a thing??? Okay it’s a weird one but please don’t judge me – I can not, I repeat can not be in a car (unless crated) when it’s raining and the windscreen wipers are on – I try to attack them….. just remember I said it was a quirk!
Being a bulldog I will need to have access to air conditioning and do very much enjoy sleeping inside – I have a dog bed that I’m happy to catch my beauty sleep on.
I enjoy good food but do have to be mindful of not getting fed lots of treats – it goes straight to my hips!
I love people but do get sad when they get scared of me cause I’m a bulldog I’m not scary at all – my foster mum says I’m just a huge love bug (a toy loving love bug), and while I know I have told you how much I love to play I also love to sleep – nothing beats a day of some ball play, and then a sleep (and repeat)
If you think you could make me part of your family & are interested in applying to adopt me, pls send thru an adoption app.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
