Hi everyone, Chilli here! I know my name sounds a bit hot but I am actually a good girl! My carer speaks very highly of me and reports that I am good with other dogs, kids and am affectionate. What’s not to like? have a big personality and I do love a cuddle whenever I can get it! I will eat what is put down for me. It all seems good to me after the hard times and going without, if you get my drift! I am not a barker but will bark when I see the need to be protective of my people. I have some basic commands which could be sharpened up with some training. Some training for me to learn to walk on the lead would help me, as I am not very good at that yet. I also travel in the car without being a nuisance. I am playful but find walking on tiles makes me slip backwards, Maybe I am a bit unco but you can probably fix that easily. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
