My name is Autumn. Until just over a month ago I was living on the streets with my mum Xena and my younger brothers and sisters and at night we were hiding under a house together. A kind lady fed us and managed to catch us so we could be brought to 2nd Chance.
I am friendly but shy. The lady would found me has visited and worked with me so I relax. My beginnings mean I need a home with someone who has the time and patience to work with me, show me that humans aren't scary and that a cozy home life is the best way to live. I would love to learn to be confident enough to play those funny games, chase balls or just sleep on the sofa. I am pretty special and I need someone special to help me shine.
A note from 2nd Chance Cat Rescue: Autumn is STUNNING and has been waiting a little while for her special home. She is currently at our headquarters but would flourish in a home environment. She is timid and with someone who is willing to invest the time she will blossom into a loving family cat. She would ideally be adopted with her mum Xena who is the more confident cat - she is lovely and super friendly. We know the right home for Autumn and maybe her mum Xena is out there...we just need to find them.
If you are looking for two cats Autumn would LOVE to get adopted with her super friendly mum Xena. Xena would really be the teacher on how to be a great family cat and would bring her little girl out of her shyness.

All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are Desexed,Microchipped, Vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack and we transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.
Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
