Hello everyone my name is Diesel!

I am looking for my family or owner to help me find my forever chance of life. I promise to be your best friend, curl into you, and meet you at the door or gate waiting for you to come back to me.

I was surrendered after my life time owner went into care and unfortunately passed away. I was left alone for a little bit so sometimes I fear that you won’t come back. I am a predictable dog with a puppy heart.
I will wait for my meals every night and morning, and I will make you laugh when I roll around on the floor or snuggle into you for hugs and head pats.

My foster family showers me once a week, my skin is healing and my fur is starting to grow again after having a cancerous lump removed and cleaning out my ears so I can hear better.Due to my age, I am really lucky I am now healthy and safe again, I will carry my lead or my collar in my mouth and if I get off the lead, I’ll have a sniff but I’ll always come back to you. Sometimes I have hearing and vision problems, I bump into things or I can’t hear you call me, but I can see shapes, lights and I have the strongest nose which I use to navigate my way around (you wouldn’t even know that I have these problems cos I’m so happy all the time). I enjoy providing and seeking comfort, I am a companion dog.
I promise to stay by your side and be your best man for the rest of my years! I am healthy and strong now and hoping to find my forever chance, someone with lots of love and time to give me. All I want is love, I may show signs of fear, but if you can show me I am safe, fed and loved then I promise to be your best man, and I promise I won’t eat your shoes, sometimes I get excited and pick them up but I won’t eat them!! I come with my favourite fluffy monster and rope toy. Some times I play with balls, but ropes and tug of war are my favourite which makes me super happy.
