About Kara
Kara is a lovely, gentle, kind and affectionate dog. She adores people and always wants to be around them. She will follow you around the house or sleep in the room you're in. Kara is a big lap dog and definitely doesn't know her size!
Because of her size and level of excitement, Kara would suit a home with older or teenage children who is able to give her the affection she deserves. Kara is okay with being left alone especially because she has a doggo friend to keep her company.
Kara is very dog friendly and would suit a house who has a medium-large dog who can be playful but also knows how to have some down time. She can be a little rough when playing so a well matched dog of a similar size would be best. Kara will give a little warning if she has had enough of playing.
Kara would not suit a home with cats or pocket pets.
Kara can sit and wait for food until you say 'okay'. She can be a little jumpy when she's excited to meet new people or when you've come home so her new family will have to work on this. In saying that her carer says this has definitely improved while in care. Kara also needs a little work on her recall so we would recommend keeping her on lead until she gets better with this.
Kara loves her food and loves going for walks so will need to be walked twice a day.
