Crunchie is up for adoption 🍫 SPECIAL NEEDS

Unfortunately due to no fault of his own Crunchie has come back into care.

He has had a flare up of a infection called Caliciviris and unfortunately he is likely to have flare ups from time to time for his entire life. Or he might not have another flare up at all, it depends how stressed he gets and how his immune system is going at the time.
Calici can make him lethargic, weak, have mouth ulcers and an inability to walk (sore limbs combined with only 3 legs). Symptoms can last from 2 days to 2 weeks and do need veterinary treatment to manage his symptoms.

Many of you would of seen or followed this little mans journey over the last several months.

Crunchie has turned from a quiet little baby who lost his leg at 4 weeks old into a full of character, spunky, laugh a minute little teenager.

Having three legs has never stopped Crunchie from achieving exactly what he wants. From learning to climb up onto the couch, to finally mastering how to get to the top of the cat tower *insert heart attack for foster mum here when she saw this the first time*. He can sometimes even outrun his four legged friends.

He is not a kitten to be carried around and cuddled. He would rather follow you endlessly and sit next to you on the couch or in bed for well deserved naps. He has also taken to holding his mum's hand on the way to anywhere in the carrier ❤️

His new fascination is boxes and he quite likes sitting in them whilst his foster mum pushes him along. Who said you can't play and catch a ride at the same time?

Crunchie takes everything in his stride (except the vaccum), from vet trips, physiotherapy and stretches at home. He never blinks twice even if he doesn't love what is happening to him.

He is living with two very big dogs and two adult cats.

Rehoming will require that he does have a friendly playful cat mate as this little boy is addicted to playing with his foster fur siblings. If they’re fully vaccinated they’re not at risk of catching the virus.
