Hi my name is Malcolm.

I’ve spent some time in a foster home where I’ve adjusted very well. I love being indoors and I am very well behaved in the apartment.

I’ve mastered many aspects of pet life. I’ve just conquered climbing stairs up and down. Also, I can hold my toilet very well and have had no accidents. I usually get 4 toilet breaks a day and can get through the night with no problem. I am a quick learner, gentle with people and never pull on the lead or jump. I love going for outdoor adventures and I’m quite confident in my expeditions, short or long. Talking about my expeditions, I’ve recently discovered my love for the water! I enjoy dipping my feet at the doggo beach and am getting more confident with my doggy paddle, I would love for my new family to take me to the water when possible. I enjoy a social dog park and am such a good boy with dog friends both big and small and small humans.

I am a little shy and might take me a while to adjust to your local dog friendly pub or brewery but I’m doing very well in social environments. As long as I have a comforting blanket or a safe nook I’ll be happy to plonk along with you while you have a few drinks. I do well with noisy roads but occasionally get startled with loud motor cycles, buses, and just don’t like the feeling of man holes under my paws. I can settle on my own for a few minutes up to an hour at a time, whilst you to go to the shops. I’ve been working really hard learning how to enjoy alone time but for now I would prefer not to be left alone for long periods, I just love humans so much!

I am a gentle loving soul, and ready for my forever home. I would suit new or experienced dog owners who mostly work from home. I think I’ll be fine with little humans too since I don’t startle if being touched when sleeping or eating and love eating tasty chicken from your hand, I’m just so very well mannered.
