About Sophie

Sophie is a 5 year old Border collie x Jack Russel.
This girl is super sweet and would love a new best human friend. Sophie has been a indoor/outdoor dog, she loves to be involved with her family. Sophie enjoys her tucker. Sophie is not suited for a apartment and would prefer a back yard to run around it. Sophie is good off leash and loves to play in water, she enjoys going cafes with her human. She is a very loyal girl. Sophie knows how to sit, stay and drop, she walks well on a lead. Sophie can be a little frightened of big dogs and echindahs lol. Sophie has been friendly with everyone she has met here at SMART including cats and dogs. She can be a little shy around some dogs. She loves playing ball, chasing bubbles and swimming.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
