About Lexi
Woof woof! Lexi here. Everything is big about Lexi: she is a big beautiful girl. She likes big and long cuddles and is a big fan of basically everything! Also, have you seen her gorgeous big face and soft brown eyes? Lots of room for looooots of kisses from her humans.
Lexi will shadow you wherever you go; she will be your best mate and adores her human company. Life is exciting, and so thinks Lexi. She is quite a goofy, bouncy boisterous young pup (pup for life, right?!). Days are not boring with Lexi around, and there is never a bad day!
Lexi girl absolutely loves playing with water, especially with the hose in the garden. Chasing and biting at the water, stealing garden gloves and laundry cloths are amongst her favourite things to do. She will definitely make you laugh. She enjoys a good game of chase too!
One requirement is her daily dose of cuddles, sloppy kisses and a belly rub. Sometimes she forgets her size and, if allowed, will sit on your lap. (Who needs personal space anyway?)
She will thrive as an indoor dog, being included as part of your family. You don’t have to worry about rodents around your house. Lexi will take care of it. Although she has not lived with another dog, she is very friendly, playful and submissive toward other dogs. Of course, she would love to have another furry pal in her next home with an initial meeting to see if they get along.
Lexi used to live with two other cats, they were best mates. This being said, she does not tolerate new cats and will chase them.
This clever girl is well trained, she will proudly show you her behavioural school certificates. She walks well on and off lead and knows how to sit, drop and stay. Her recall is also excellent. She is house and crate trained. You can catch her stealing balls from other dogs when she is in the dog park. She loves being chased, and she thinks this is a big game. You can get her really excited for camping trips, beach walks and all kinds of adventures!
She is absolutely fine being left at home during the day. She will greet you happily upon her humans return. During the day, she will protect her home and yard. She is an excellent guard dog and will alert you to any intruders. Lexi is food orientated and will eat anything and everything.
Lexi is looking for a calm and confident human with experience that can continue her training. She is still in the process of learning how to manage her excitement, and can resource guard occasionally. Her personality will thrive in a calm and quiet environment, where she gets all attention she deserves. Lexi is a treasure. She will spark up any day and give you lots of cuddles and kisses!
Medical notes
Lexi is a healthy girl!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
