🖤🐱 MEET MAMAMEOW 🐱🖤
Hey everyone, I’m Mamameow. I've had a bit of a rough life so far, and I am not too sure about hoomans yet... maybe you can help me on my journey?
Nature
I'm still very scared, so it will take some very patient and understanding hoomans to navigate my spicy cattitude. I haven't been away from my kitten/s since I gave birth, and I'm a protective Mama. I'm currently living with my son Hehemeow and we hide together and hiss at the hooman if she tries to approach, we’re two scaredy kitties!
I think it's time I flew the nest and give myself and them the best chance at a happy life living with some nice, calm and gentle hoomans. I think being around some confident fur friends instead will help my progress rather than hiding away with my shy family, it will benefit me greatly to be separated from my kids.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
As mentioned, I am not so sure about hoomans, so it would be pawesome if I lived in a calm, quiet and mature household without children.
My current foster carer took me and my three babies in, aswell as having three of her own kitties already! Being around other cats does not bother me at all, so I think I will be okay going into a home that already has a cat or two. Especially if they are friendly ones who will help show me that hoomans aren't so bad and can be trusted, I can learn from their confidence!
My current foster hooman also has some doggos which have been sharing my living space and that don’t seem to scare me, they just do their thing while I hide away and watch from my hidey hole.
Likes / Dislikes
I like it when the hoomans bring me wet food at the night time and then leave me alone so that I can come out of hiding. The hoomans leave biscuits out during the day in case I dare to leave my safe space to have a nibble. They also leave cat TV on for me (which I've been caught watching after the hoomans go to bed).
Oooh and one time, my foster hooman was persistent (and careful) enough to lure me in to trying a Dine tasty treat packet and I realllllyyyy liked that! 😻
I think I might need alot more of those to help persuade me that I don't want to take the hoomans hands off after all, haha! I will still hiss and swipe to ensure the hoomans know I am not fond of them yet.
My PURR-fect home would be with a gentle and mature hooman home that understands that I will be spicy, but who are willing to give me the time and patience so that I can settle in and I’m sure I will come around eventually - at my own pace and comfort level.
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
