About Pip
Based in Horsham Rural City Council
🔊 Pip is adoption Ready ❤
Pip is our male Boxer cross pup. His date of birth is 18 July 2021.
Pip's a very chill puppy that is happy to lay around out in the sun, but also has his boxer puppy bouncing episodes. He is very affectionate to humans and the other dogs in his foster home, but he does invade their space so some dogs might not be used to that.
Pip walks well around the yard on his harness practising but he has not yet been out in the comminity as we wanted to make sure he was vaccinated first.
Pip loves his food and is slowly getting the hang of sitting and waiting for his food. Pip is a pretty messy eater as his jaw does not align properly.
Pip is crate trained and he loves sleeping in his crate at night and in the air conditioning on the hot days. Pip is slowly getting the hang of knowing bed means his crate when inside.
Pip can be an excited puppy so is not suitable for a home with babies/toddlers. School aged children will be fine. Pip will need a committed home that will continue with his training and socialisation.
Pip has not had any exposure to cats and would probably need significant training to ensure he did not develop the "oh chasing the cat is fun" attitude.
Pip is crate trained and sleeps all night without any toilet accidents.
Pip goes to his home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped and desexed. His adoption fee is $800.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
