About Pie
Based in Horsham Rural City Council
Pie is starting his journey of finding a home to call his own.
Everyone wants more Pie in their life right?
This particular Pie is sweet, quirky, athletic and full of zest. Pie is a Kelpie x Border Collie. He came into our care with his two sisters who found their homes farily quickly. We needed to do some extra work with Pie.
This guy is not for the faint hearted and needs a home that would continue his training and exposure to the world. Pie has been in our care since 18 June 2021 and only now to we feel he is ready to take this big step.
It may help if his new home has a healthy appetite for orange crunchies i.e twisties, Doritos, cc’s, chips as this boy loves them and are the key to his heart.
Pie needs a home that doesn’t have animals that he can obsess over and practice his constant herding behaviours. But another easy going dog would be helpful as he is very busy and intelligent. He will dutifully de stuff and de squeak any toys in his vicinity.
Travelling is still somewhat nerve wrecking for him and tackles a 5 minute drive like it may be his last moments on this earth.
If you like Pie, orange crunchies, challenges and dog training please let us know if your interest and we can talk more details about what this special boy is seeking in his forever home. Only the right home will help Pie excell in life.
Pie goes to his new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed and of course with lots of handover advice and guidance. Pie's adoption fee is $500.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
