About Dotti & Bessie
Dotti & Bessie came into our care at 5 weeks of age, along with their young Mummy, Minnie and their Aunty Melba
They have been lucky to be in foster care with their relatives, so their personalities have been adapted very well and they have been a joy to care for.
Dotti (tortie/grey tabby) was named after Dorothy Young, the assistant to Houdini. Dotti was very good at hiding and disappearing from sight in the first few days.
Dotti is unique in colouring, and we have watched her coat change colours. Her little smudge on her forehead is the same as her Aunty Melba who was a grey tortie with equally unique markings. Dotti has a gorgeous white and silver tabby marked belly.
Dotti watches from the sidelines and lets her sister, Bessie, check things out first then joins in. She waits for her sister to get pats from strangers before she participates but that only adds to her independent spark and determined character.
Bessie was easy to get when we came upon this little family. We dangled a toy and she popped out and we picked her up! It was that easy.
With her perfect little face, an equally old-fashioned name suited her gentle personality and bursting confidence.
Her coat is a beautiful grey & silver and she has a creamy smudge appearing down her nose, again like her Aunty Melba.
Bessie loves to jump high and pounce on whatever is moving. She also likes to watch you in the shower which is kind of odd but you get used to it.
These babies have had their Mummy & Aunty caring for them. When they were feeding, Aunty was cleaning their Mummy and them. They have been blessed with not being taken from their Mummy too soon, and are healthy well-adjusted kittens.
They are very bonded and will only be rehomed together.
Both will be desexed & microchipped on 22nd February and ready to go to their forever home.
