About Thomas
Thomas arrived into the care of RSPCA with his brother Neville as part of an unwanted litter, they were very small, timid and in need of lots of love and socialisation! They were placed in Foster Care while they reached a safe weight and age for desexing, as well as learnt that people can make good friends! Thomas is the more confident of the two, he loves carrots and chin scratches! A patient, loving home will help these two continue to bond with their new family and become inquisitive, loving members of the family. Rabbits are social creatures and thrive when living with another rabbit friend, ideally - we would love to see Thomas & Neville be adopted together as they have a lovely relationship and their different personalities compliment each other so well! Rabbits need a nice big, but also very secure, enclosure that they can explore, they also love having a space indoors, where they get to spend their time with you playing and getting good scratches. Most rabbits prefer their feet on the ground but if you're sitting down with them, they might be enticed into your lap with a yummy treat! Please see the below link in regards to appropriate cage sizing for rabbits: https://kb.rspca.org.au/knowledge-base/can-you-give-me-some-general-advice-on-caring-for-my-rabbits/ It is important to note that as well as be the appropriate
enclosure size, rabbits need plenty of toys and lots of enrichment.
These handsome young bunnies are located at our Latrobe Adoption & Retail Centre if you want to hop in and say hello!
