A special home needed for a very special lady!
- Nahlah is a sociable and friendly senior lady. Although content to be left alone to snooze during the day, she happily comes out to greet her carer on her return home.
- Nahlah enjoys a cuddle and having her ears and head stroked. She’ll follow her carer around the house, supervising her doing the household chores.
- Nahlah loves her scratching post and hiding / sleeping in the little cubby holes of her cat tower. She’s also prone to sudden bursts of energy where she’ll race around the house and chasing balls.
- Nahlah enjoys company and is friendly with visitors. She loves attention and cuddles in the evening, and likes to sleep on the bed with her carer at night. She has a good appetite and enjoys her food. She is tidy when using her litterbox.
- Nahlah is suitable to a quiet household only, with strictly no children or other animals.
NOTE: Delightful Nahlah has special requirements:
- At a recent vet check, it was found that Nahlah’s kidneys were not functioning as they should and she has been placed on a special renal diet which is showing positive improvement to her kidney function.
- She will require a further test in three months which SAFE Busselton is prepared to cover. In consideration of her ongoing special dietary needs, SAFE will also waive Nahlah’s adoption fee.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
