About Jimmy
Jimmy is a beautiful, 3 year old Cornish Rex with the sweetest personality around.
He loves everyone . It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete stranger, a tradesman coming in to do work on the house or a small child- Jimmy will warm to you fast (especially if you’re going to play with him).
Jimmy is a very needy boy - he loves being the centre of attention and wants to be involved in whatever you’re up to! He would like nothing more than to be picked up and carted around the house in your arms.
He is just the sweetest, most friendly, most loveable guy around. He will be anyone’s best friend if given the opportunity.
Jimmy is a popular boy wherever he goes; loved by all and adored by the shelter team.
He came to rescue after struggling to get the hang of the toileting set up in his previous home. It was just not working for him at all!
After some experimentation in foster care, Jimmy started to use his litter boxes with gusto! Multiple boxes in easily accessible places worked well for Jimmy and his accidents reduced significantly. We believe that with stability, routine and some considered placement of the litter boxes - Jimmy will get the hang of his toileting in his new home! Bonus points if you have an outdoor cat enclosure!
It is important that wherever Jimmy goes he is the only-pet in the household! Although he adores other animals, they are a catalyst for his toileting issues and we've found the most success when he has all the hoomans too himself!
Jimmy is truly the perfect companion cat who is just dying for a forever home. He loves unconditionally and we are looking for someone who will return this. Homeless Hounds would love to work closely with whomever is lucky enough to adopt Jimmy to set him up for a lifetime of happiness!
