About Penelope
Our gorgeous girl Penny has begun the search for her forever family, and has taken the hearts of all of our staff and volunteers!
Penelope is a wonderfully natured girl who would love a simple home with all of the creature comforts that a pooch would ever want.
Dear Penny came to us due to having a severe septic illness known as a pyometra. This is where a female dogs uterus becomes infected, slowly causing a life threatening blood infection. The beautiful girl has made it through the difficult surgery and intensive hospitalisation and we have all fallen in love with her. She is a sweet girl who loves going on her walks and just loves a good snuggle 🥰
We have also treated a tough ear infection and Penny also received a Dental Scale and Polish.
Being the breed that she is she may have ongoing ear and/or skin sensitivities, however it remains to be seen that in a dedicated home (like yours!) she may not develop such an ear infection again.
Pennys’ adoption fee helps to cover a small portion of her surgical and hospital treatment, desexing surgery as well as her microchip and will go to her new home up to date with her annual vaccination as well as monthly intestinal worming, heartworm, flea and tick treatment.

Adoption details
Currently communications are restricted via email only to allow for an informative and detailed adoption applicant process!
We encourage meet and greets to allow adoptive families to be introduced to their prospective new family member.
We welcome interstate adoptions even through the current restrictions - Adoption travel arrangements are arranged by the adopting family, and we are always happy to help where we can!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
