About Chelsea ~ 5yr Old Kelpie X (Hold 14/2 Rev Apps)
Chelsea is a beautiful 5 yo kelpie x lab. She is very affectionate and loving once you have gained her trust which takes no time at all.
Chelsea is quite low energy despite being kelpie. She likes to lie around and sleep, making sure she’s near you at all times! She does love a walk however and will chase a ball if she’s in the mood. She’s quite a skilled ball catcher and she will bring the ball back (even better!)
Chelsea can be a little nervous in unfamiliar surroundings and will look to you for reassurance in these times. Walks in quiet, secluded areas would be ideal for her. Chelsea doesn’t enjoy storms or other loud/startling noises, but lots of reassurance and pats from you will help her feel calm. This gorgeous girl is ready for life inside with you and is not destructive and is reliably house trained.
Chelsea is currently learning to use the dog door and is making great progress. While Chelsea knows some basic commands like coming when called and sitting, she would benefit from a forever family who is committed to her ongoing training. Chelsea would thrive living with another calm and confident dog in a quiet household with a large yard or property. Chelsea’s forever home would ideally be one without young children or cats/small animals.
For more information on Chelsea, please contact her foster carer via email on 77beccaboo@gmail.com, Chelsea is in foster care in the Newcastle area NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Chelsea’s adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
