About Nina
HI! I'm Nina; and I am part of Gladstone PAWS' assisted rehoming program.
I have been well looked after in my previous homes, but am still looking for the perfect match.
The first thing you should know about me, is that a regular game of Fetch is MANDATORY. It is my absolute favourite. A close second would be chasing waves at the beach; and a regular walk.
I am housetrained, crate trained, and basic obedience trained - so I sit for my dinner, am gentle with my food (though don't like sharing), and travel well in the car. I am calm in nature though can definitely get excitable at times. I have been good with kids and babies too. Although I grew up with a dachshund, I have been an only dog and don't much like unfamiliar dogs in my space, so would be best suited as an only dog.
I am a healthy girl, but sometimes get itchy feet (probably from all of the mad games of fetch on the grass!) but a little lotion keeps this in check. I also get some digestive discomfort from a sensitive tummy and the vet says I have a slow digestive system so I require two small feeds a day of puppy food to ensure adequate fat and protein intake. I am fully vaccination and have had my annual heartworm injection too.
If I sound like the perfect girl for you and you the perfect match for me - please give the rescue a call to arrange for a phone interview and perhaps we can meet up. Fetch-adverse homes need not apply, coastal homes encouraged.-
